Where is Pisa Airport?

Pisa Airport is located just south of Pisa, a few kilometres from the Ligurian Sea. The busy dual carriageway ‘Superstrada Firenze Pisa Livorno’ is nearby, via exit ‘Pisa Centro – Aeroporto’ of this motorway you can reach the most important airport in Tuscany.

How to get from Pisa Airport to Pisa?
Public transport
Since the airport is only a kilometer away from the city of Pisa, there are a few options to choose from .
The Compagnia Pisana Trasporti (CPT) connects the Airport to Pisa city centre every 10 minutes with the RED Lam bus.
Train / Pisa Mover Bus
From Pisa Central Station you can arrive to any destination of the Italian railway network. Pisa Mover line links the Pisa Airport to the Central Station on a daily basis.
The journey time is 5 – 8 minutes.
The Pisa Mover operates from 06:00 to 24:00.
It departs every 10 minutes.
At Pisa Central Station, the bus stop is near the platform 14.
By taxi
The taxi service is run by  Taxi Pisa Cooperative. The average fee varies from 6,30 € to 10,00 € (2,55 € extra on Sundays and holidays and between 10:00 p.m. and 06:00 a.m. At the airport taxis are in front of the air terminal exit, in the arrivals area.

There are several car rental companies located at and around the airport, mostly local companies and few larger companies – Sixt, Europcar, etc..

In case of lost baggage please go to the Lost & Found office located in the baggage reclaiming area to start up the search procedure. The Lost & Found office will carry out the search for your baggage for the following five days and deliver it to the desired address. After making the report and providing contact details, a text-message service will keep the passenger up to date with the progress of the search. At the end of the five days, the passenger must directly contact the airline company they travelled with for further information.
