Bus transportation – Bus (Bologna)
Transport between Verona Airport and the city is well organized. The Aerobus of TPER (Trasporto Passeggeri Emilia-Romagna) operates between Bologna Airport and the railway station of Bologna, which is the main rail transport hub of northern Italy. Tickets cost € 6.00 per person, you can buy them online or from the ticket machines at the airport and train station. Upon entering the bus, you will need to validate your ticket. To get to the centre of Bologna, you should get off the bus at the third stop (Via dei Mille – centro città). The fourth stop is in front of the train station (Stazione Centrale), it’s the last stop where you can get off the Aerobus. From the railway station of Bologna it runs back to the airport. It is possible to transfer to another bus without paying extra money, but bear in mind a single bus ticket is valid for 75 minutes. The Aerobus departs every 11 minutes to and from the airport, travel time is 20 to 25 minutes. The last bus from Bologna Airport leaves at 00:15 hours, the first bus from the city to the airport departs at 05:00 hours.
